“Experience is the best teacher because she gives the quiz first and the lesson after”

― Vernon Law

At DogHouse Forge we truly take this statement to heart. They only way to fully understand something is to follow the steps of completing it, practicing it, mastering it, and then finally, teaching it.

Workshops -

DHF host several bladesmithing and forging workshops each year. These are two and three day events where participants will learn the process of forging and finishing a blade as well as the art of handling and finishing. Hands on, start to finish!  Each participant will be given the materials and instruction needed to create the knife they will take home at the end of the weekend.  New for 2018 class sizes are limited to 6 total participants, and the new DHF facility has air conditioned work rooms so don't delay!  *We do have an age restriction, please contact Emily@doghouseforge.com for questions.
