“If you can't explain it to a six year old, you don't understand it yourself.”
At DogHouse Forge we truly take Al's statement to heart. They only way to fully understand something is to follow the steps of learning it, practicing it, mastering it, and then finally, teaching it.
D.H.F. host several bladesmithing workshops each year. These are two and three day events where participants will learn the process of forging and finishing a blade as well as the art of handling and sharpening. Hands on, start to finish! Each participant will be given the materials and instruction needed to create the knife they will take home at the end of the weekend. Class sizes are limited so don't delay. *We do have an age restriction, please contact Emily@doghouseforge.com for questions.
